Mosaic Release Adds Increased Functionality to the Concord Suite of Portfolio Design Tools
Matawan, NJ- June 27, 2006- Concord, a
leader in outsourced wealth management technologies, announced today the
release of Mosaic, Concord’s latest innovative technology to enhance its SMA (Separately
Managed Accounts) platform. This new addition to the Concord
suite of portfolio design tools will enable portfolio managers to quickly allocate
client assets among a group of non-proprietary asset managers.
“The
key driver behind the development of Mosaic is the ability for portfolio
managers to efficiently prepare client proposals,” explains Lee Argush, CEO and
Co-Founder of Concord. “Using different asset allocations among a collection of
strategically selected platform managers within the appropriate asset classes
is a winning strategy.”
Additional
functionality of Mosaic allows for the integration of outside managers with an
institution’s internal (proprietary) asset management style. “Not only is
Mosaic a portfolio management tool,” notes Project Manager Lauren Scarano, “but it also enhances the sales process by
demonstrating to clients the benefits of an open architecture approach to
managing assets under Modern Portfolio Theory.”
Mosaic
joins the Concord arsenal enabling
banks, registered investment advisors, broker dealers, and other asset
management providers, to outsource and private label a wealth management
solutions platform using institutional quality managers. Supporting this
capability is Concord’s web-based
technology which facilitates the creation of client proposals and designing
complex portfolios across a broad spectrum of assets classes, from traditional
styles to alternative investment classes such as hedge funds, ETFs, mutual funds, and real estate.
